Study God’s Word. Make it your constant companion and friend. Delight in it as the Psalms describe. Let it guide you in all parts of life, to know the will of your God, to love your neighbor, to serve your Lord. Christmas is coming, when we behold the Savior born for us. We recall his glorious birth, where he took on our own human flesh to redeem us from sin, and we rejoice to know that he is with us always, to the end of the age. And in that joy, the joy of forgiveness, the joy of salvation, the joy of eternal life, the law guides us to live for him until we see him again.
