Our Lord gives us a charge. Be faithful until his righteous judgment. There’s no stopping it. On that day the world will be judged, according to its own words and its own deeds, in perfect justice. But Jesus offers us something different: the gifts of righteousness, the reward of salvation, a chair at his table in his glorious kingdom.
