Yes, we do believe that we’re immortal and will live for all time, because Jesus lives. He’s the one who will welcome us into the eternal dwellings, together with all the saints he has redeemed from sin. And yes, because we know that, we lavish our all on those who are in need, and we’re quick to visit those who are sick or lonely or in prison. And yes, we consider each other brothers and sisters. And yes, we despise death. “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Let the world stare and mock and sneer. Let them cling to their unrighteous mammon. We’re all-in with Jesus.
