Followers of Jesus Listen to His Word

We get distracted by all the busyness of life. There’s so much going on, so much to do! And here is Jesus, where two or three are gathered in his name. Here is Jesus, the Son of God, your Savior from sin and death. You can chase after little league games, and school band concerts, and projects for work, and doctor appointments, and sometimes those are good things to do. You can dedicate every minute of your life and every ounce of your energy to serving other people. But there’s one thing that is needed. The word of Jesus is our rest. The word of Jesus is our life.
